The touchscreen glitch has gotten worse and multiple times a game you'll start "looping" and careening to your death. If you can recover from that the game is still fun for wasting time. It's highly addictive and easy to play... I just wish it didn't glitch so much. Also on the downside the adds can be a annoying.

Ads do seem less intrusive now. I didn't see any after several runs. I also noticed you can remove all ads by buying any amount of in-game currency (as low as $2). Good game; well done ustwo. Edit: Kinda buggy. Edit: Gets boring quickly and progression is still far too slow

Really enjoy this game! They fixed the ad issues so the longest any non-opt-in ad is 5 seconds, and they don't play very often. One issue: I think getting 3 stars in stage 25 of Baron's Revenge is impossible. I've played the stage countless times and made sure to collect every blubble possible (you physically can't collect 100% of them) and break the clouds at the most optimal times, and yet 2,990 points seems like the max when you need 3,100 for three stars.

This game is really really fun to play. I played it once before a couple years ago and played it so much I was able to buy every item from the shop. I am playing it again now with my son but this time I see there is an advert EVERY SINGLE TIME after a game. So 1 game then 1 ad then 1 game then 1 ad. And they are 30 seconds ads which is ridiculous. But yeah I read the review prior to this one and yeah just put airplane mode on and no more ads.

its a really fun and addictive little game! theres one thing though that i absolutely hate about it, and that is that the game gets really unfair after a bit. after youve passed through so many levels you stop getting enough blubbles to keep your trail going. you could collect every single blubble AND avoid every cloud and you'd still run out of trail and die eventually. there's no reason why i should be dying in a game if im collecting every blubble and not hitting a single cloud.

Wonderfully exwcuted simple idea, even the ads are made to be respectful via having very little or at all interruptstions or ways yo pressure you into seeing them. You have the choice to get more currency but I love how tis hidden from you so only take it if you actually really want it Gameplai is simple and replayable, Music is so comforting and a banger. With guenly challenging. It both respects your attention as a player and consumer, it is a TRUE mobile game.

I used to love this game, and play it often. Now it's glitchy, and there are way too many ads. **Edited 3 years later: much, much better. The ads are still somewhat annoying, but the gameplay has improved so much.**

I love this game with a passion and it is so nostalgic to me. The only problem is that for some reason neither the sounds or the music are audible for me. I've tried reinstalling it but it's still just mute. If there's a solution please help.

hey devs, this game is honestly great, maybe better than the classic version just because of unlockables and such. However the lack of frenzy music (on Android at least) really is a huge bummer. the game just goes silent during frenzy which doesn't fit at all. Would be a huge improvement if that got fixed

There are multiple ads that don't close. Sends you to the app store with no way to exit the ad after you watch it and you lose your points for that game and are forced to close the app. No way to contact support. Looks like developers abandoned the game and are leaving it on the app store for whatever measly ad revenue they can get.

level design is heavily punishing and difficult to navigate no matter how precise you can be, frustrating to play, from my childhood, to my recent re-visit. came for the art and song though, i will give it that.

I've had this game for the past 7ish years. It's like a comfort toy. Its fun, bubbly, and very simple for young kids to pick up. I play it when I'm just standing around and I put it on when there's bored kids around. Keeps them well entertained with its bright colors and soothing music.

very good game but some things need to improve like 1.when you start game always start form red theme that feels game boring after sometime game should have to start from random theme or give a option to select theme seperately because after yellow theme game become so hard that many players can not explore different themes that feels bad because not everyone playing for crazy scores 2.add some more good music like this please😄 and give a option to select them after this game would be a 5 ⭐

Used to love this game, so I thought I'd install it again for the groovy memories, to my dismay there is no whale, just trail, now I have a S22 Ultra so running this game should be a piece of krill, but alas, no whale. If this issue could be fixed we'd be back up to 5 stars, but I can't even play the game when there is just a trail of sad bubbles. Not even the song can make up for this sad, sad occasion.

I have such good memories of playing this when I was younger and since then I have cried singing the song from this game, "I'm on a whale trail, I'm gonna set sail" I'm sure this game has problems, it's a mobile game, but this game is truly incredible to me. It might not be the next mario but it sure as heck is whale trail. And so I say to the people who made this game, thank you.

Since I posted my last review, the ads seem to have gotten shorter and more respectable. Kudos to whatever happened. Still wish I could pay to remove ads, and the leaderboard is definitely not real and never updates :)

OMG best game ever I play this game ever since my childhood. The game is the best, but I kind of wish you made more. Games including. the whale trail one. That would add more to the lore by the way, the game would be better if it had a show, please make a show for the game. It's my childhood a show would make my childhood better, I will. die without it.

THE SONGS!! I use to play this when it very first came out. and I just redownloaded it because I just remembered it. and sadly the catchy song wasnt there 😪😪 "California whale trails" I loved that song please bring it back!!!!
